I went through the same problem recently.

After lots or pumping & bleeding I ended up doing what has been mentioned here.
- Get the bleed nipple as high as possible
- Wedge the rear brake pedal down and leave over night to let any air bubbles move up to the nipple
- Then bleed the system again.

It worked a treat - best the rear brake has been for ages.

In sympathy with the "Bleeding" theme of the thread - now my ''bleeding'' turn indicator light is not working.

Buzz...I think the bleeding turn indicator light problem is the bleedin' turn-indicator relay.
It's also expensive.

buzz...if it's the indicator on the dash, check the folded copper connection on the circuit board, where it connects to the globe. It might be cracked. A tiny piece of folded aluminium foil can fix bleedin' problem.
