Hasn't the clock about run out?
WWS is granting a long leash. WWTB is patient, something she's learned in her 81 years.
I suspect I'll be less patient at 81, what with knowing I've got less time to be giving away.

Don't worry driggs, you are safe as long as the R65 exists. :(

Don't worry you're not missing much. If the side cover decals were covered up or absent you wouldn't easily tell the difference between an R65 and R45 as they are all but identical. In the absence of X ray vision to spot the smaller bores the only visible clues for discerning eyes would be speedo and rear drive ratios, the carb model number and the 473 cc inscription on the headstock name plate.

I am thinking I need to defend my R65, but I am not sure I am following this properly.

You don't need to defend your R65, Brad. It is a wonderful machine - 5 years ahead of Type 247's of the same period!

It was just popular to bash the poor little babies!

Hmm, that got me thinking. Does a R45 OWN all /2's?

Of course /2's are antique motorcycles, so it may not be a fair comparison.

Ken, feeling good now about my R75/6 in Oklahoma
