R100R Throttlemeister

Post by chasesa »

Can anyone advise if a Throttlemeister (or similar) is available for the R100R?
Thanks!

Throttlemeister seems to only be available for Oilheads and on. Bob's Wrist Rest is available for a at least three different I.D. bars, so one of those might work. I'd just call Bob's BMW and ask.

you can still get a flip-a-lever.
i use them on all my airheads. the throttle housing already has the hole for it.

I use a pair of "Fin Q" grips on my RT, along with the factory throttle set screw. The throttle side grip has a molded in "fin" that your right palm rests on, sort of like a throttle rocker. You do have to put that grip on at the correct angle to get the benefit of a comfortable rest at common cruising speeds/throttle settings, and it's not quite a "cruise control", but it works and looks pretty cool, too.
