This is for the discussion of Motorcycling. The art, the science, the theory of all things related to our favorite sport... riding motorcycles.

Another AGATT endorsement! As they say, dress for the crash, not the ride! Glad you're OK!

Indeed, I'm glad you are OK after your minor crash.

And a few scratches on the valve cover certainly don't prevent riding the bike, hell a few battle scars give it character.

Great ride report BTW!

Excellent debriefing Melville.
Lucky you had gear on or you might have looked like your burrito.

Yeah, didn't want to join you in the September Lowside club, but there it is. Hope your recovery is going well!

Raining this weekend, so a good time to catch up on Bling maintenance.
Call me Mel. Some years ago- never mind how long precisely- having little or no money in my purse, and nothing particular to interest me at home, I thought I would ride about a little and see the other parts of the world.

Glad it turned out so minimal, Mel.

Remind me to visit sometime. My Mo-in-law lives in Crescent City, so I do get up there from time to time.

Do you go via Oregon?

Did you move to S. Lake Tahoe so you could live on the Bonanza map?

I usually go 20 over to 101 and up the coast. When we have the time, we go all the way to Fort Bragg and go up 1.

And, no, we're not on the Bonanza map. The Ponderosa was up on North Shore. ;-)

Yeah - the "North Shore" as depicted on a television screen...

But look, South Lake Tahoe would be right around the right-bottom corner of the map:
