I Need A Krauser Key - Any Tips Where To Find?

Post by captmako »

My Krauser bags are in pretty good shape. However, no key(s).
Takes the key #055. Anyone have a source where I could locate such?
Thanks in-advance.

Check the Resources and Links thread on the MOA forum...there's a post there that has quite a few key sources listed.

Hmmm, key sources for the Krauser bags too? I was under the impression that they were simply not available. For a while keys were selling at a premium on eBay--I think. (I may be out of touch regarding key unavailability.)

The locks are way easy to pick with a mini screw driver.

Were the Krauser keys numbered 3 digits starting with 0?

I thought they were a S something eg S150...can't remember.
The BMW classic touring case had the 3 digit number....
eg are they these ones that I'm trying to distribute here? [shameless plug]

Hi Steve, I don't know all the particulars on the key #'s. Wish you had the 055 though.
Cheers.

Looks like Snobum has a lot of information on the keys, including cross reference numbers.
