ME109 and Brunhilde at Cabramurra, probably discussing valve clearances or oil viscosity or some such ...
Some people do make the effort to keep up appearances ...
Pete and I had a lovely ride around the mountain on the Sunday. Got a bit cold, and even a bit wet going over Thredbo. We claimed the Geehi Hut around 4pm and settled in. I didn't manage to take any photos there - gotta get a better camera battery. Anyway, we had a pleasant evening - no wind, and a clear sky under an almost full moon - and woke to a perfect sunny morning.
Pete had difficulties with a flat battery again, but his little power pack came to the rescue - very impressive, that gadget.
We packed up, swept the dance floor and hit The Luge down to Khancoban, lunched at the Corryong bakery and cruised down to the lowlands. I made it home about 3pm, I think, and Pete made it back home around 6:30 with no further problems. A great weekend it was. Thanks all. And I'm looking forward to doing the Geehi Hut again in four weeks time.
Mal, well done getting the Friday off for that run. Let's hope the weather is conducive.
