Gidday,

So the metal polisher called by last night for a chat and a look at the bike

Now he has offered to take my snowflake wheels, use a mixture of soda, glass and water and mildly blast and clean then up, and wait for this bit fellas ... FOR FREE!! yep you read correctly!!..... hhhhhmmmm dunno, should one except the offer!!

He had a set of old mag alloy wheels in his van that he had just done and they certainly looked lovely.

Will let ya know the outcome
Cheers, Grant

Gidday,

Thanks to Timo I now have some engine badges installed

Now to remove the wheels, front brakes and dismantle the forks for a clean, inspect and repair!!

btw check out the exhaust nuts, they polished up lovely, maybe a little to lovely as they make everything else look a little dull.

The gear lever was slightly worn and annoying me so I grab a coke can and made up a new thin shim, wrapped it around once, applied a little grease and tapped it back all together, is now like new again.

My old chevy has a few coke cans throughout it to shim things up nice and snugg ;)

That shed is a wonder, there's even a good looking bike in there . Love all those little shelves . :)
