In your map link, head north, over the small range until you meet the north arm of the Hume...you can see where the road crosses the river and heads further north to Wymah. The road is a punt, not a "road".

Steve,

What about Aust Post, it's under 1200mm long....

I shipped an old vinly graphics cutter, it was heavy and about 1000mm long that I sold on ebay to a bloke in Brisvegas and it cost $38.00 from trafalgar (approx 1700kms)...

Austpost are very good nowdays for bigger things????? I think

Hi Grant, unfortunately it fails to meet Auspost guidelines due to it's girth. A little like it's new owner I s'pose!

Auspost girth limit is 140cm, this box is 210cm.

Try this lot..

I haven't used them myself, but last year I sold a pair of (rather heavy) 4 foot speakers on ebay and the buyer used this lot to get them to Sydney. They were happy to collect them unboxed, and the buyer thought they were good value on a pair of speakers worth $150.

Thanks Moike. How's the RS running?
I've bookmarked packsend.
This time however I've gone with http://www.e-go.com.au
$42 + $15 insurance. I'll report back on how that works, delivery probably Monday.

Oh my! I forgot all about it! (That was 24 hours ago, right? )

I mean, I looked at your link, and that was cool, but I didn't figure out quickly how to go from there to straight Google Maps, so...

But soon! (I just ate lunch about an hour ago.... :? )
