Sorry I havn't taken many pics yet, When we disembarked (along with about 90 other bikes) 7.00am, went for fuel
and breky and headed south to my Daughters via Longford, Cressy, some country road (bit of gravel) to Ross.

Then down to the family at Broardmarsh where we have been helping do a bit of work around the place.
Found all these rocks.

Used some extending last years effort.

More to go on that one yet but found some more.

And started another project.

Well its been raining for the last few days but has fined up now so we are heading over to Lake Pedder
camping, Promise to take some photos, will post in a few days.

Ah, you are still down there, exploring the map Bob. If you and Alison are returning north 'up the guts' (via Albury Wodonga), you'll be passing near my place. You will be very welcome to come and break your journey here. I can offer a comfortable floor (with mattress), food, home brew, use of cat etc. There are some lovely roads around here. I'll email with details.

Sorry for the delay, re the stone. This is the story, the house was originally built by convicts in the mid 1850s,
but was timber on the back half, which we think had some stone flooring, hearths, chimneys etc.
Through the years this back half has undergone demolitions and rebuilds, My daughter and husband have done
the latest modern (passive heated, strawbale, full double glazed north wall etc). So all the stone from the original
build (back half) is lying around in various piles and we are using it to make paths and gardens.

This is the front view, two rooms and hall in stone.

These photos are a couple of years old and it looks a bit more finished now.

G'day all, Last weekend we took a ride out to Lakes Peddar and Gordon camping out for four nights.
It is a worthwhile ride should anyone visit this area, started off on the southern side of the Derwent River
where they produce Hops.

An old Oast house for the drying of Hops.

Then it was through the Upper Florintine Forest with some nice twisties but moss growing on the side of the road,
worringly damp in places.

The forest opened up and the National Park began with a few views.

Some more twisty tar, but drier, then we turned south on to 35ks of good gravel.

About 25ks along our first look of Lake Peddar

This was our camp for three nights.

And this is the Gordon River Dam.

G'day Blokes, Still in Tassy and having fun.
Rode up north to check out the Longford Revival a few weeks ago, Its a road circuit through the rural outskirts
and into part of the town of Longford that was used in the 50s and 60s, all not able to be used now, but they closed off the straight (about 2km) and went WOT along to the radar/braking markers. Lots of cars, some bikes, some of that
era and a few moderns, I didn't see all of the exhibits vintage, veteran, classics, etc.
Here are some shots of some of the cars on show.




Shannons had some bikes on display as well.



Some history regarding the bike racing.

Some of the speeds recorded wwere quite quick but the fastest was the Suzuki Hyabusa.
Downside of that trip is someone liked my right side panel better than I did,more to come.
