for good, cheaper helmets, I agree with Scorpion. I have two, one for me, one for my kid. I've had it about 5 years.
It is SNELL and DOT rated. It's an EXO400.
My only complaints:
1. it is hot, the vents are not affective
2. it is heavy. My neck gets really sore.


I just received my Nolan N43 today which is a lot lighter and breaths more. It is not Snell rated due to a removable chin bar and runs about $269. It has an internal fighter pilot style visor, a face shield, you can configure it about 6 ways from open face to close face, with shield, without, with visor without.
It also has a much wider and taller viewing range than a full face.
Buy land. They ain't making any more of the stuff.
