How do you work your airhead?

On my /2 I pull till the shift indicator on the speedo. /2's (well mine anyway) don't like to be lugged around. I have floated the valves in the heat of battle, and was surprised how long it would pull! On a side note a bunch of us Old Crap Riders
( https://www.facebook.com/home.php?sk=group_227940508558 ) went to the "run what ya brung" night at a local 1/8 mi. drag strip and I managed to get it in the high 10's !!! So yes I think I work mine! When I had R11RS's they hit the rev limiter every day! Back in the day our R/75 race bike would hit 10k more than it should have, with no damage done!
