Yeah, I've spent many happy hours looking at various maps of Tassie but, what with current trends, you often find yourself looking at a map of Saskatchewan.

If you want to get fancy about it you can run the jumper wire through a toggle switch and can then kill the engine without letting the clutch out while in gear.

It's the full map, right up to Port Phillip and down to Antarctica for me if possible, but each to his own.

But it's a field of enormous interest to me, Jeff.
I've done all I can to save the forests down there and I've been missing that southern hospitality.

I've got the standard power outlet plug on the side of the bike (unswitched) does this mean that I could run a lead from that to the coil?

Cheers

12V to the coil is all you need.
Doesn't matter where it's from.

I did a stint in Antarctica some years back and I hate to report this, but it is too late to save the trees. They are already gone. How do I know? Simple, I was assured that there is a beautiful naked woman behind every tree in Antarctica. I never found a tree.

a beautiful naked woman

The most likely place to see a 'map of Tassie'.
Unless the loggers have been in! ;)
