Ewww, didn't even think about that part. Like I needed more reasons to stay away from that thing.Ken in Oklahoma wrote:Plus, there must have been some major problem that led to the bike's current location.

I'd like to have it, but I'm financially embarrassed at the moment. It would fit in just fine at the 30yearoldjunk place.
My '74 was in much better shape and I still spent almost a grand on it just to get it to go down the road.

A grand wouldn't get that bike started. It looks like right down to the cases!30yearoldjunk wrote:I'd like to have it, but I'm financially embarrassed at the moment. It would fit in just fine at the 30yearoldjunk place.

Yes, the problem is stated in the auction text. The owner bought a Harley and didn't need two bikes. OK, just fine. It's for sure a rescue in every sense of the woid.Ken in Oklahoma wrote: there must have been some major problem that led to the bike's current location.

I put a bid in on it, but I'll be shocked (and in trouble with the wife) if I don't get out-bid. It's not all that far from me, so if someone here just can't stand not having it and needs to stash it somewhere I could pick it up.
