It would be nice if only one could offer up a single cause and fix it. Life just isn't like that. How is the stiction?
Ask the Indians what happens when you don't control immigration.

When I drop the bike of of the centerstand,the bike will compress the front forks about 1/2 " & then come back up & settle. I`ll see what happens today,when I get the wheel back.

That is not a definitive test of stiction. You could have just put in a request with Google, "BMW motorcycle stiction test" or something like that and see what comes up.
