Now I'm wondering whether to apply rule number 5?. 'If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

I just hear Vanzen's advice regarding my brakes. Make my brakes all that they can be.

Re: Brembo caliper rebuild
I agree with you here ME109, I've been wondering the same question on my bike. My calipers work just fine. On the other hand they could have 23 years of gunk inside them, and would most likely benefit from a cleaning and fresh seals. Decisions, Decisions. If it's the riding season down there, then I definately put it off for a while.ME 109 wrote:Now I'm wondering whether to apply rule number 5?. 'If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

It's always riding season here Jeff. Sometimes it pays to stay out of the mountains tho' and head north into the outback instead.Jeff in W.C. wrote: If it's the riding season down there, then I definately put it off for a while.

When I lived in Central Ontario near Kingston, I would put my bike away November 15th and bring it out April 15th. That's why I left.dougie wrote:Yeah. But it's comin'.Garnet wrote:Gee Dougie, wasn't it almost 18C in your neck of the wood yesterday?
