[quote="jjwithers"]I posted a link to Clubmans on my site:
http://beemersandbits.com/2011/06/clubman-handlebars/

I found that i really liked the reach of my set of bars on one bike. I didn't want the same set of handlebars but i wanted the same reach and found a set of drag bars that had the a similar reach.

Hey Josh, are those drag bars on the toaster you built for Shane Balkowitsch? The bike's gorgeous, and the nearly-straight bars look sharp. ~Mark

If you modify the castings so that they will fit over 7/8" bars, then they don't fit properly on 22 mm bars. The bars are cheaper than a set of controls. Modify the bars.

The fact that I was perusing the top 10 topics list on your website at the very moment you posted this advice only served to reinforce its apparent wisdom. Cheers.

Yes, those are the bars and that is the bike for Shane. Look for an article in the next BMW MOA magazine... They are going to run a small piece on the bike. I'm very excited to see it in print. And the bike is AMAZING to ride. everything has been rebuilt and it can be described as 'tight'. No slop in the transmission, driveshaft, final drive, lightened flywheel, etc... and the Siebenrock kit gives the bike some pep!
