duane's right. ANY old capacitor lying around that's OK will work. You can mount it outside the normal casing if you have to.
The point is, it's across the points (sorry about THAT!! I would have made some long pun....) and when it goes bad, it usually is a short-circuit and acts like the points aren't opening.
wonder why it costs $30??? Fancy Honda box? that's as bad as a fancy BMW box. I think there's a '67 Dodge capacitor in the '77RS just now...or is it the spare for the '65 Plymouth? Anyhow, you get the point(S) (whoops. there I go again!!)
