I will say that CA has improved since the days of "Super-Glue". Also critical will be to use fresh CA –
Once opened, shelf life is @ 3 to 6 months at room temperature.
It is best stored refrigerated or frozen ... thaw to room temp before using.
Any moisture / humidity will cause CA to cure.

My CA experience is similar to Vanzen's- it was the primary assembly adhesive for R/C airplanes that I used to fly. One time I had a very ugly nose-first landing (receiver battery failure was the cause), and nothing broke except the (one-piece) propeller.
The thing with ANY adhesive is to understand what is is and isn't good for. Even JB Weld is good for some things- just not all things.

I also used ca glues for building radio slope gliders and had a few ugly nose first landings too!
..... I did find the ca glues couldn't stop 3' 8" of 1/2 steel bar ballast from exiting the wings on impact.....
