Thanks Charlie, I have been waking up in the morning with a smile on my face, just thinking about all the possibilities. Good news; these bikes have been off the books so long that I don't have to pay ANY back taxes, just swap title fees. WooHoo! Digging through the parts stash I found some Luftmeister special tools still in the blister packs and a little research shows the kick start kit is going for about $700 these days... (wow)! On further inspection, all three have matching numbers (engine and frame), the black R90/6 is looking like it wouldn't take too much to get back on the road and I have most of the parts to do it. Decisions, decisions...Airbear wrote:Timo, for some reason I'm seeing a picture in my head of you bounding around like a demented pixie shouting, "They're mine, all mine", etc. Well done, mate.

There is a guy renting dual sport adventure bikes on this island, so two wheeled tourism is not out of the question. If you rent one of those, I can take you to all the unique and remote places the tourists don't get to see or aim you in that direction. If you give me enough of a lead time, I might be able to get two road worthy BMWs running at the same time!Mal S7 wrote:Good idea. I'd honestly be tempted to be a customer ... a big old scenic island en-route .....Bamboo812 wrote: One option, get one or two more running, and rent them until I can sell them. I have to build my own consumer base, literally!
