hi to all, have a look at the vdo brand , with your year model it should have a black face with a red pointer if so the vdo brand has the some colours so it wont look out of place and will fit straight in the hole. or if you can find a green face bmw clock ( i think 81 on ) the old face on your dead clock will go straight onto the new housing / mechanism thats what i have done to my R90 clock and volt gauges.

"Nathan's swap meet is THIS weekend, Nov 6.
Blue Moon 9Norcross) is next weekend, Nov 13."

Where is Nathans? I'm working weekends in Memphis for the next few months but thought I'd ask. I'll either go with the Equus or VDO.

"dyno or synthetic oil in your clock" ............. I'd suggest drilling a hole in the clock, installing a zerk, and pumping in greese until it just seeps past the clock face.

Memphis is a SMART distance from Athens...Nathan's place is south of there.
Blue Moon is really your best bet for possibilities. Lots of people come with boxes of STUFF.
anyhow, we are having some nasty weather just now...hope it clears by tomorrow.
I think VDO makes a round clock that will fit...it's just frightfully expensive compared to something else.
That's why I got the meter that I did.
