Cylinder and calliper are spotless. No pitting in bores or on pistons, but some mild surface rust here and there.

Thinking I might keep on the lookout for a handlebar solution.
This would do the "do", right? I'm just a bit unsure.

Ask him the MC size. It's on the underneath section. 13,14 or 15mm. I'm unsure what size is best suited to a single disc setup.
The throttle teeth look well worn.
If he has the matching grip, ask him if it can be added to the deal.
Some new stainless hose would add to performance. If the current hose is old oem stuff, then any new hose should add to performance.
