It looks like a waste of a machine to me.
Essentially useless tyres and the air intake is interesting but does it run properly?
Park and perve maybe? Starbuck express(o)

I think they are just storing the engine for a worthwhile project.

A while back a bloke stopped to talk about my bike and the little changes I'd made from stock. He invited me to call in at his place to see a custom Harley he was putting together. He'd built a few along the way and the quality of his work was pretty amazing. Thing is, the build underway had the lower frame tubes 19mm (3/4") off the floor. I queried him about this and he said, "O, it's not really meant to be ridden on the road." I'm still wondering what it was for. Perhaps an expensive coffee table ornament like Duane's BMW single?
Edit: While on the subject of extreme customs; this was posted here a while back.

That'd be useful if the gatlings were switched at the handlebar.

And, btw, that little panel is the only thing I don't like on the bike. If that panel had been pounded out of aluminum, wit soft corners that blended with the engine cases, I would have found that much more satisfying. As it is, it's the only thing on the bike that looks like an afterthought, and a compromise.

Yeah, I could have built that part!

I like Charlie's 'Isiliminator' better, although I'd make those fuckers pivot.

BMWNA must like it; it was on display along with the new models at today's Progressive Show in Chicago. No indication that it's a prototype for an upcoming production item, though . . .
