Is there actually an Ebor Pub? I didn't see it on google-world Sounds like a great idea for place to meet up, (SteveC will also be frowning at the dirt tracks.)
Charlie's comments about how busy the campsite was, is a worry. Did you see any other options?

'twas a beautiful morning here when the fog lifted. I am sick of work already and want to be away!

Charlie here, on Sibbo's 'puter.
I really didn't notice much about Ebor as I sailed through. I think there is a motel and a servo, but don't quote me.
Thungatti is nice, and there are lots of trees dividing up the campsites, which are of decent size. And there is a big shelter thing, with tables and electric barbeques. Quite comfy, really.
I didn't find any other decent alternatives in the area. I think prolly best to go with it, see what happens.
I'll be getting there on the Friday arvo, I reckon. No phone reception there for me (Vodaphone).
Bring water.

Well I'm packed and starting off in about an hour, a few showers around at the moment but I should
be just behind most of them.
I don't think there is a pub at Ebor, Got a couple of water bottles,
Might see you Fri pm Charlie.

I'm at Kyogle after a great night with the Sibbos.
I went to Queensland to make sure it is still there. Tick.
I'm heading to Woodenbong to check out a couple of Nat. Park spots for tonight's accommodation, then I'll push on to Thungatti reserve for Friday night. Can't justify making it to Bendemeer first. The tattered budget is rebelling.
Ride safe, and I'll see you at Thungatti.

I've been given a mission by a fella at work. Collect some seeds from trees that only grow in that area; Dorrigo White Gum. Maybe we will see them over towards the coast? Maybe they look like this:-

Those trees look a bit/lot like eucalyptus grandis , rose gum or flooded gum . Is that what you're after ? My copy of Bootle, "Commercial Timbers of NSW" doesn't list a Dorrigo White Gum.
