Steve, just go faster if you take the long way. Then there won't be much difference. ;)

If you go through Beechworth and Yack you will be on the Bethanga side of Wodonga, so stay on the Mexican side.
Hope my "K"onkey makes it over them hills...

If we leave Bethanga by 1400 we should be there before you.

I can get beer for you at Corryong or Khancoban. That'll save you carrying it all the way from Jindabyne or whichever..

Waddya want? Anything other than beer?

Good point. I will try for 4 :? . Have about the same distance as you Steve (~600km) so no real excuse apart from enjoying my few leisurely stops along the way at Cowra, Gundagai and .....

Beers? Great if you can grab some! I am carting a bottle of red. A couple of beers would be welcome, not fussy. Whatever you like and I will fix you up when I get there.

Have to get back home on Sat. Looking forward to the ride and catching up with everybody!

Now ... to pack ...

cheers
Mal

Blokes,
At last, ive managed to beat the antibot device and get back into this site to post.
As luck woould have it, I'm singing in a couple of concerts this weekend and thats stuffed me for joining you at Geehi!
Rode up to Corryong on Tuesday for a business meeting and the country is just as splendid as it always is.

Now that I can post again, I want to put together something of my tassie trip last month... Ya gotta go!... just so good!!
Safe riding and best wishes for the weekend
Doug

The hangar doors are open. The prawns, steak, bacon and cheese are in the house fridge till five minutes before takeoff.
Pre flight checks good.
