I've made note of a couple of places that can resleeve the master cylinder. These are brakecylinder.com and applehydraulics.com. Another good place for all things brakes is vintagebrake.com.

Whichever way you go, the most important thing is determining what size cylinder you need and the first step in this is finding out what size you already have. Unfortunately, I don't have any experience with adapting a single ATE caliper to a Brembo master cylinder so I'm not qualified to comment. It's interesting that Beemerboff has been able to downsleeve to 11mm since the smallest size offered by BMW appears to be 12mm and, obviously, the piston/seal assembly must fit the internal diameter of the cylinder. It would be interesting to know if there is a source for this size of piston or whether it had to be specially made.

It's also worth looking at Motorworks ( https://www.motorworks.co.uk/ ). They list all of the sizes and repair kits...

Sorry to have taken so long to reply ,but for some reason I couldn't log on no matter what.
Brembo still make 11 mm M/C's, they are the only size offered in their short lever M/C's.
They were also fitted to Moto Guzzi's which had one 50 mm caliper connected to it (the second one came on with the rear brake!)
So OEM parts should not be a problem, and making a few pistons would not be a huge problem for most specialists, as in a large shop which deals with vintage and classic cylinders there will always be the need to turn the odd special up.

It seems reasonable that the shops who resleeve mc's would also sell the seal/piston kits for their work. DO they????
