The ones you roll up are so soft....can you describe your problem with them?
I'll jump in here with my experiences.
I have very narrow ear canals with a rather sharp bend to them.
In the course of 40 years of construction work, I often encountered job situations
where ear-plug use was mandatory. Often these jobs were at the auto factories ...
ear-plugs were supplied & FREE.
During this time, I tried virtually every kind and type of 'one-size-fits-all' ear plug and found that,
although some were better than others,
none fit easily, worked well, AND were painless for the duration of an 8 hour work-day.
One of three situations prevailed:
1. I could not get the plug to stay in my ear.
2. the plug would stay in place but did little to reduce noise.
3. the plug fit, stayed in place, reduced noise ... but caused PAIN over the course of time.
Criteria met:
While in Florida for bike week
15 years ago, I bought a pair of custom molded ear-plugs from Bob Weis.
I replaced this very first pair last fall with another.
The first pair cost me @ $60.00. Over the course of 14 years of service – that's $4.29 per year.
