Yep, I've been bending a bit of perspex sheet in the oven and will proceed with multiple variation on the theme ,that's what the request for photos was for ....ideas .I like to ride with my visor up if possible but that's not the only reason .I want some nice quiet air to lower the noise in my helment .I use ear plugs , but they're a hassle and reduce my ability to hear car drivers intent on maining me .A thermal scarf thing to stop air movement up inside my helmet helps a lot but it's not a go in Summer .

A dead air space would kill the rush of air around my helmet ....it seems the best solution .

The angle of the screen looks too steep , a screen that size will work OK , just angle it so it keeps the air off your body and your head out in clean air.

The PO fitted probably the smallest Givi on my G/S and combined with large Maier handguerds it is works well - I dont need anything bigger.

Sorry Roy , are you refering to a photo ? Which one ?

I was referring to the picture in the first post in the first post, it looks like the air would just tumble over the top of the screen.

A shallower angle will divert it , probably not over your head, but a straight blast in the throat is better than turbulence around your head.

that's my ST in the first photo ...I had a screen above the mini fairing and I was able to adjust the angle quite a bit , nothing seemed to help ! I've asked this question over on ADV rider and a few helpful fellas have posted photos .Interestingly there are quite a wide variety of shapes ...here are a few .I'm going to experiment and see how I go .

Ahh , I was just back rereading this thread and noticed the above ............that's my driveway down to the house , a tool shed on the right .Not all of Oz is dry and dusty !
