Which shop where U at?
Duncan. They are expensive up there. There is that scooter shop that sells that brand downtown (Victoria) BC. But I wouldn't want anyone to see me walk in to a scooter shop.
Hey Garnet I'm playing down at the Strahcona every Sunday 2-6. Stop by!

They have them locally, for $300. I may go and try them on. You got wonder why they make these pants with vertical access pockets. If you for get to close the zipper you can easily loose your wallet or...
I checked out my pockets and they're pretty deep, I hate to spend money!!!! Still you might be right about losing things. Perhaps get into the habit of putting change only into the pockets, less to lose.

As I ponder this purchase it occurs to me, that with the weather proof liners you have to take off your pants during the tour. I'm wondering if an unlined mesh pant with a rain over pant might not be a better solution. The problem then becomes; what if it gets cold? Then you would have to ride with the over pants on all the time. Last July I encountered snow, a searing 90F on the same day. British Columbia can and will do this. But it is glorious!
With the loooong side zippers, the olympias are a cinch to get on and off, even with boots on. The liners are a bit time consuming if you do all the fasteners.

I bought the pants for $179 and the jacket for $139 + $56 shipping to Oz. I ordered from Gulf Coast BMW in Houston. The ph # is 713-944-7951, ask for Gina. Remember this is the Airglide II,not the III. I have no affiliation with this mob, they had the best price at the time. The fit was perfect and the price a lot more reasonable than BMW gear. The airflow is very comfortable in the sub-tropics of Oz. I approached the owner of Olympia to see if his product was distributed in Oz and the answer was no and not in the near future. I'll probably get to try the wet weather part of the gear this week as I go to the south of New South Wales to meet up with some of the forum members.

That's how I do it, when I expect warm weather in the afternoon but it's cold in the morning. I have a set of Frogtogs rain gear, and plain cheap mesh riding gear (until I get some Olympia stuff). If I put the rain jacket on over my mesh jacket I'm pretty warm. So far I haven't ridden in mesh pants in cold enough weather to need to wear the rain pants.
When I think it will likely rain I wear the Olympia Phantom one piece which I really like.
...for that matter I have a leather jacket and pants too, for in between. I'm worse than a woman with her shoes, I swear.

You haven't met Zombie Mistress: Imelda Marcos II!
I got a chance to try the waterproof and winterproof of the Olympia pants and jacket while going to the Oz rally. I am truly impressed with the thought of the designer. Money well spent.
