I had used a set of Lufty bolt-on braces for years ...
And also will say that they do make a + difference in handling feel and stability.
Having said that, welding those braces improved that feeling of difference
and only left me wondering how better positioning (triangulation – as suggested by Foale)
might further improve the situation.
