In reality the DR is an old, new bike. not fuel injected, not high revving. I guess that's why I bought it. Nearly 30 year old design. Simplicity.

Ah, there I go, jumping to conclusions again. Actually, a mate of mine has 400 and a 650 DRs but I've never looked all that closely at the workings. Pretty good bikes - he seems to get along briskly on both of them. I did see him and his 650 get blown right across the road by a sudden gust of wind. He is very tall and he and the bike represent considerable sail area.
