The toaster tank is the same as the /6, with the exception of the mounting holes for the emblems and the bracket for the toaster panel. The panels are chromed steel, and all the tanks have the same indent for the emblem.

For those of you only reading part of the string (and getting confused), THIS is were the issue of magnets and aluminum came from

I would make them from scratch from polished aluminum (I hate chrome). They'ld be lighter too. I'd make some for large tanks too. Not stock, but it could have been... and was probably considered when the /6 came out.
I've got an embarrassing dent by the emblem on the left side. A nice polished aluminum panel would cover that nicely.
