She's a bit blustery here today (perfect essay writing conditions by the fire). Poor bastards in Gippsland got a lot of weather last night and are dealing with flooding now. Still raining in Canberra but should dry out sufficiently in the next few days. Minus 5C frosts predicted for the weekend - perfect Alpine Rally weather. Hans, Doug and meself are forming the advance party. Expect a good hot fire on arrival, gents. Ride safe.

You beauty Charlie!

Look forward to seeing you guys there, ride sasfely also.

PS. don't forget to take a rottweiler to reserve a spot for us.

PSS. If you can't find a rottweiler, a pissed chihuahua should suffice.

Allowing drunk chihuahuas to mark territory is just wrong, Jeff... and inaccurate to boot! (unless they are claiming your boots as "territory")

So much for the best laid plans (of mice 'n motorcycle enthusiasts)...
Due to circumstances BMC I'm now staying over @ Benalla Friday night - so will hopefully hook up w Ken et al for Sat. lift off.
I'll call Ken to confirm schedule...
Weather looks bless'ed - I won't be packing my 'full' wets, but will definitely be taking my woollies!
Pete

No worries Pete, Ken's plan is to go via beechworth and hook up with Jim and a few other lads.
I'm almost done packing the RS.
I think it should settle out at just over 1 ton.

Jordan is coming on the back of the RS
He's 18 now. He's much bigger than he was!

I'm reminded of the photos of early Australia showing drays? loaded way high with wool bales!
