The Clymer schematics are not nearly as good as the Haynes ones (old manuals) The Haynes manuals were useful in showing the differences in wiring of the EU/UK models and the US version. Clymer had a lot more errors, too. The 1970-1996 Clymer schematics that are a 2-page spread are a LOT better, but I still don't like the color-printing for the wiring. The "text" wire color designations will not fade over time, and I can highlight the wires I want to follow without altering the actual color-code.
If you are doing a complex tear-down, it's best to have both manuals. One will tell you SOME special things, and the OTHER will call your attention to different things.
