6:30 AM????? That's WORSE!
Look, he's dragging his ass outta bed first thing in the morning just to jump on your posts!!!!
Hell, I stay up all night to cause trouble all the time, but if I drag my ass outta bed early just to cause trouble, I REALLY am invested.

That's better than going to work grumpy!
I can smile all day sometimes, knowing I've caused mayhem somewhere.

I shipped my r75/6 from Australia to Sri Lanka back in 78, by removing the front wheel and mudguard and bolting the front axel to the bottom of the crate, the bike was secure and rides on its suspension. This also substantially reduced shipping costs by reducing the volume of the crate. Wheel panniers camping equipment etc etc was in and around the bike.
The photo is unpacking the bike on the dockside in Colombo.
Leaving SriLanka involved putting the bike onto a small boat to get to the shore at Ramaswarum in India
In this photo I was shi***ing myself, quite a long drop, and the planks were not that stable.
The full sized images are on photobucket and have not been cropped, same user name as here

I don't think Tim was saying he doesn't give a fuck. He just can't do anything about it now.
Do they teach Eagle Scouts how to tie down motorcycles? My son is a scout (not an Eagle Scout though) and I don't recall a "tying down motorcycles" merit badge.

E.S. Rob here: No, no "tying down motorcycles" merit badge. In fact, there is no Knot-tying or rope-specific m.b. Just "Camping".
But back in my day (the sixties), you HAD to learn the knots mentioned by Native /5 or you didn't even start to advance through the ranks.
BTW - all of the credit for my achieving the rank of Eagle goes to my parents. "Planned parenthood" you might call it.

What about the mudgeon knot? It's best done with hemp rope.

R75/5 v.2.0 sitting as a time capsule currently. Engine and such works - but right now, all things that roll need help (front rim help) spokes, etc. Reality speak is my intent has always been and continues to be to tear it down entirely and restore it 100% with only modifications that are not readily visible (or unavoidable - like the later model SWB seat I got screwed on; but a part of life I guess...)
Starts and runs on the first pop. Would be rough to ride with no front wheel assy. attached

While I ponder dwire's meaning, you read it literally and responded in kind. Does your real name have the word
Scalia in it?
