Me too Sibbo, it's about as close as I'll get.

An eventful sortie by the sounds of it Jeff! Is there anywhere else in the area? Even around Howqua maybe? I don't know the area in detail.

Heaps of choices Steve.
I spose it's a matter of who's coming, as to where we go.
I'm gonna go.

There be aliens on that road to Cobblers Lake.
Agree that the road to the lake is too much trouble for too little reward, even without tyre repairs.
Pete and I camped for two nights at Bennies. Very comfortable and quiet. Big flat area covered in soft green grass by a nice stream. A good dunny, no tables.
Bennies is 19kms along an easy dirt road. Another pissabolity is the Howqua Historic Area, via Merrijig - 13kms of easy dirt to get there, and a good range of camping spots on the Howqua River. But if Mal is coming we'd prolly better think a bit more northerly.

Bennies looks good.
For Mals case, what about somewhere along the Murray? Anywhere between Khancoban and Echuca?
Didya get to Dargo Charlie?

Hi fellas. My ears were burning.
In London right now, had a week of driving about and exploring. I learned that GPS navigation is not optional for this land of ten million roundabouts. Wales looks a great spot for riding though, words are inadequate to describe how beautiful it is (except Cardiff)
Tomorrow fly to Chicago to catch up with friends.
I'm not sure what I will be doing when I getback . Would love to come on a ride but dont plan it around me. Brownie points will be severely in deficit.
Cheers

Nice one Mal. I'll bet you're having a ball. Business, pleasure or both? Pictures or you're still in Dubbo!

Not sure if or when I can get away next but following this thread with interest.
