Who runs early alloy wheels tubeless?

With that statement from the period, I don't think insurance companies can blame you for going tubeless.

Well, I'd heard that there were some aftermarket wheels toward the end of that period that actually were designed with rims for tubeless tires, but I've never actually seen them, and I did not remember if it was Lester or Morris that was supposed to have made them. My original post started with that comment, but I edited it out because I wasn't actually certain they exist.

You may indeed have such an animal, as the "TL" on the wheel certainly should mean that. Most (as in almost all) do not have that "TL."

When I ran snowflakes, I ALWAYS opted for high-quality, name-brand (European) NATURAL rubber tubes.

I never had one tear from a puncture.

The way my service/modem/OS is running at home (not very well...), I'm wondering if I could go back to a non-internet life.

I really miss the days of DSL when any guy could set up a provider service and sell you a connection.
Now it is only AT&T (had it), Comcast (what I have) or Dish (? satellite).

Motorola (modem) tells me to check my provider. Comcast tells me if I recently upgraded to Win 10 (guilty), I should check their website (but my modem lights are not well...).

I check Windows, they say "Reboot"! (almost funny, so sad).
So I am rebooting everything, and I have a tech coming to the house on Sat.
I hope I have a bad modem or there is something flaky going on on the pole out back.

Getting tired of looking at my status #s on my modem's login screen.

Considering a simpler life. (A job with fewer restrictions on the internet! )

That said, both Morris and Lester marketed cast wheels appropriate for tubeless tires.
They are rare as hen's teeth these days. If you find Morris wheels available, buy them regardless!
Do not use tubeless tires on those old snowflakes or you will go directly to hell, do not pass go...
When that happens, we will sit back, have a beer, and tell stories about countless miles ridden without incident or tubes.
