Well, I'd heard that there were some aftermarket wheels toward the end of that period that actually were designed with rims for tubeless tires, but I've never actually seen them, and I did not remember if it was Lester or Morris that was supposed to have made them. My original post started with that comment, but I edited it out because I wasn't actually certain they exist.mattcfish wrote:

Read the last line of the add....."and they're engineered for tubeless tires"
With that statement from the period, I don't think insurance companies can blame you for going tubeless.
You may indeed have such an animal, as the "TL" on the wheel certainly should mean that. Most (as in almost all) do not have that "TL."
