Got my Lazer today, and it fits! Came four days ahead of ETA and no extra fees. (Canadians will understand). Looks to be a quality lid. Lots of unique features. Though it's designed and engineered in Belgium, it is made in China :( . Box says since 1919! Large view port will help with shoulder checks. Lots of venting. Will test tomorrow, very interested to see if the transitions face shield eliminates the need to wear shades. The shield looks perfectly clear indoors. I will still need shades to look cool off the bike of course.

I need you to ride in a down pour asap and report back if it leaks down the inside of the visor. Where you live that should be easy to arrange.

My eye glasses are "transitions" so I don't really care about that factor.

I never look cool on or off the bike. Maybe if I were a guitar/bass player I would.

Pretty dry these days, but the seal looks really good.

So I got out on the bike with the new helmet. The transitions face shield works. It was bright sun today, never felt the need to wear shades. The transitions are quick when going from sun to shade. Air vents work, you can feel the difference in air flow when you open them, which is not usually the case in my experience. The large eye port does make shoulder checking easier. All in all, seems to be a quality unit. Opening and closing the front part of helmet is surprisingly smooth, with no noise or struggle to close. My only real criticism is that the helmet is fairly loud when worn without ear plugs, which I only did to test it. But the most important feature is the weight. It is light, and that feature alone is worth the price of admission....IMO
