Thanks... the feedback is appreciated.

Since we've almost degen'ed this thread...I MUST ask...Chuey, On this "Grounding Loom" (? do you mean EARTHING?) did you use BROWN wires or GREEN wires for the final connection?
Obviously this is VERY important...if one is to be CORRECT.

I do the same thing!

I buy white wires and color as I need to. This one ended up yellow/white for headlight pre-dimmer switch hot.

Well, that's a good question about the color of the wires. I have some #10 wire that I bought at the car stereo store. It's got really fine strands and has a thick dark gray tinted translucent insulation layer. That is the piece that runs from the "earth" side of the diode board to the negative post of the battery. The leg that goes to the "earth" connection at the coil is 12g wire and it is green.

I've been using 4g welding wire which is just a righteous quality product for my new ground wires (earth). It has been very satisfying to make new ground wires for my bikes. Since I have Odyssey batteries and the negative post is not in exactly the same place, I've been custom tailoring the cables to fit properly. They would still hook up to a stock battery.

I feel that I am a well grounded individual.

I have always sensed that from you.

It appears that on the battery fat black wires are acceptable for both terminals!!
