I'm talking about a "just-happened" embarrassment here. Indeed, yet another beer could easily lead to a new embarrassment. But there is a method here. With yet another beer in a person, he'll care even less if he embarrasses himself again. It's win/win result. More fun for both parties.

You missed it, Ken.
I would never fall off of my camp chair due to ONE beer, if you know what I mean.
I might jump up and run away and trip and fall if someone tried
forcing a beer on me, however.

Well, I just talked to the lady in St. Paul that covers for me when I take off, and she is O.K. with the dates!
Providing I actually come (cough), I'll see you there!
Also on the good side, I have this new old cat that I took in after the first of the year. It originally belonged to my mom, then she dumped her on my neice after abusing the cat with front claw removal... Anyway, that was 17 years ago, and I know I wouldn't want to live at my neice's house, and they tried to get me to take her when I moved in this house I am now in, so I decided now was the time. And she is old, so she won't outlive me.
But the best part is, she is very social, and I took her over to my elderly neighbor lady's the other day, and they both loved the experience! She said Patches could stay with her any time I needed to go out of town!
Hot damn!

I have gone through several of those, but if memory serves, your beam is not a lot narrower than mine, and I find the low end chairs painful enough that I have to get my own beer. Plus they tend to fail at inopportune times forcing me to make yet another trip to the ice box. The $10 - $15 more spent on the better ones is well worth it.

In trying to make the place purdy for the May rally we ordered a load of soil.
I asked for a "load" thinking small dump or large flat bed. What we got was about 18 tons of
good river bottom dirt. We're moving it by wheelbarrow to where it's needed.
So if anyone wants to come early and move the 12 ton or so that's left come on, it's only 22 degrees.

Ron, you make it so inviting. I want you all to know that even at my advanced age, I am not afraid of hard work. I can lay down beside it and nap.
