Dammit, I am out.
just too much going on right now... Charlie got the longer version by email.
Have a great time everyone, ride fun, ride safe and have a great time- I look forward to making the next ride as soon as I can.

That'll be the Alpine Hans. 6 weeks thereabouts. Too bad you can't make this one, you got some adventure stories to tell.

We're all back from the Autumn Leaves gathering. I had a really good time.
We are so full of bullshit. :P

Hey, all you other Boxerworks guys didn't have to stop posting just because us Aussies were away having fun.

I think the world stops every time you throw your leg over an old airhead. It certainly stops bothering me.

That was a great get together. I had the best time, the luxury of a week away on the bike.
I sure miss the Victorian mountain roads though.

Oh look, here is someone's bike with afrika-korps-tank-saddle-bags

Ah yes, Charlies Sunday morning service. "We shall smite the Hiroshima screamers, and drive them back into the ground from where they came"

Nicely finished off with the Lord of the Bings prayer.

Our fatherland, who's art is heaven, hollowed be thy frame
I sure will come, if I can get it done
On earth those new tyres are heaven..... etc, etc.

Woo'hoo... just discovered the forum is back up... bloody terrorists!

Yeah, great week away had by me too. Even greater to catch up with a bunch of fellow aficionados (and you blokes too  ).

Love the pics lads... If i didn't know better I'd have thought it was a flashback to a rally in the 80s. I'll post a couple when i can squeeze out some time for the pic upload rigourmarole etc... After some (*&^%$#@!) hours today I managed to replace the driveshaft boot on 'ol No. 5. Not a job i'd recommend for even (any one of) my worst enemies! Now for the fork oil... (fuggen To Do list!).

(but no worries, the oxfords are on their way... )

hehe
