Another ex bike I wish I had back,
1952 Ariel Red Hunter that I bought from the original owner in 1978. I foolishly sold it to a freind in 1982 and he won't sell it back!

Whose post you are responding to ZM? In our new flat world, it can be tricky to tell sometimes.

It's all downhill from here. Except for the uphill bits.

Sympathies are on their way to you, Garnet. My favourite era of Brit bikes.Garnet wrote:Another ex bike I wish I had back,

Rob Valdez: all seeing, all knowing when it comes to what's happening on the forums.
How did you know which post / what bike ZM was asking about? If you could figure it out, I guess I should have been able to as well.
And for that matter how did you notice yesterday was my BD? Let me guess: as a moderator you get e-mails when someone's birthday is coming up, if they have entered it?
You rock Rob.

I brought the heavy color saturation down a bit. Love how those AJS bikes look. Cool old shot!......

Call me Mel. Some years ago- never mind how long precisely- having little or no money in my purse, and nothing particular to interest me at home, I thought I would ride about a little and see the other parts of the world.
Re: PICTURE OF YOUR BIKE/BIKES
It took a minute, but I remembered someone had some fancy valve covers here recently, and went with that. Then I looked back in the thread to see what zm might have been referring. He sure is getting obtuse, lately. Making me look transparent!Steve in Golden wrote:Rob Valdez: all seeing, all knowing when it comes to what's happening on the forums.

You rock Rob.
As far as birthdays go, if someone entered their birthday information in their User Control Panel, on the day of their birthday, their name shows up at the bottom of the main page, saying something like
"Congratulations! Steve in Golden (50)".
Everyone can see it.
