This is for the discussion of Motorcycling. The art, the science, the theory of all things related to our favorite sport... riding motorcycles.

No worries Mal.
Charlie may have had a good dryish run up there today, I'll find out tomorrow.

I just emptied 75mm out of my rain gauge. Damp up this way.

On the way up on Friday visibility was only about 100m in the fog at the top of Brown Mtn and
when that cleared up I had to stop and get the wet gear on to go through a storm.
Got to Jindabyne and it didn't look that good and started raining again so got a cabin at the van park
near the turnoff.
Saturday morning it started raining again at 7.30 so I packed up and headed back home.
Hope the Boys didn't get too wet or blown about.
Charlie and I texted each other a couple of times but It was while the other was riding
or out of range so we missed each other some how.
Will try again next time.

Gidday,

Bob good effort mate :) Fog, rain and twisty bits are not a comfortable mix.

Hi Bob i was keeping an eye on the snowy mt's weather, you get that sometimes. It got wet up there sat night, bega got 98mm too.
We had a good run to Braidwood for the brunch run today, nice dry, well washed Clyde Mtn and the normal race back down.

Another great ride and saturday night. Thanks blokes. Sorry we didn't get to see you at the fire, Bob.

Pissing rain at times but we made it work and it was fun. Sitting under Charlie's tarp through a few full on thunder storms, alternating with sitting around the big fire in still conditions after the rain stopped. I love how nature works that way.
We all cooked and ate dinner in one of the breaks between rain. T bone and veg for me.
My tent stayed nice and dry and sleeping was very comfortable.

My RS performed flawlessly. Beautiful stormy skies and thunder storms today in the mountains.
