These batteries have a jump stater, built into the battery! So (for instance) if you leave your bike in park, and the taillight drains your battery, you just press a a button on the battery, and it gets jump started!!! It's a new day!:

"The NEW Antigravity ATZ-7-RS battery is built with our groundbreaking RESTART Technology (built-in jump-starting) so you won’t ever get stranded with a dead battery again! This compact, lightweight Lithium-Ion battery directly replaces the OEM YTZ7S and YTZ5. 90% of off-road bikes use this size as well as some street bikes. 150 CA, 7 Ah (Pb Eq)."

"*We will soon offer a Remote KeyFob Button to activate the RE-START feature so you won’t have to remove a seat or fairing to access the battery."

Sounds cool, I wonder how well it works? Could have used something like this a few weeks ago when we were camping in our Jeep and the battery went flat, leaving us stranded at our campsite. Luckily a guy came along after not too long and gave us a jump.

I've been carrying a little stand-alone jump starter pack for 4 years now.

Image

Haven't needed it for my bike but have started 4 cars and 2 bikes with it, all having completely flat batteries. It also has a good torch and two USB ports and comes with a good selection of connector cables for various phones, etc. Highly recommended bit of kit.

The best part is the look on people's faces when this tiny thing gets the starter motor in a 3.6 litre V6 car spinning faster than it has ever spun before.

What....You ride an Amazonas?

Batteries don't have to be large or heavy anymore.

I use 380 cold cranking amp batteries in both my /6's I don't know if a 150 cca battery would work very well 7amp hrs VS 30amp my current batteries have. The 2 in 1 batt is a good ideal. A friend of mine put a small lithium battery in his airhead last year I'm watching to see how it works out If it goes well I will replace my glass mat batteries as needed. Thanks Zombie for the Amazonas name I been calling my Goldwing trike the Beast, but I like the Amazonas name.
