I broke the stator house on my 75/5. Im looking for a new one, but im familiar with the 105mm (originally for the /5) and 107mm stator house sizes.
www.largiader.com/articles/charging/
I can only find 107mm models in shops.
Does anyone know if the 107mm model fits my /5??

Looks like the crankshafts are the same so the issue with taper on the nose of the crankshaft isn't an issue. If you have a larger diameter stator, you'll need a larger diameter rotor as well. And I think the diode board and regulator will be needed to get full potential out of the upgrade.
Note the 1974 model stator OD is the same as the /5. In 1975, things increased in size.

Have you tried looking at Ebay Germany, there are quite a lot of airhead spares there. Another possible source would be Motorworks or Sherlocks in the UK. they both break airheads and may well have what you need in stock. Finally, since this is a hidden area, a competent welder and machinist might well be able to repair the original (depending, of course, how serious and critical the damage is).

I installed an electronic ignition in my R60/2 and I found that Moto Guzzi's of around the same time period used 105mm stators. You may want to give them a shot. REGARDS

Whoops! Read R60/5 rather than what I've written above. It's a 1972 R60/5.
