R80 Electrical Issue

Hi all
First time poster here.
I’ve recently purchased a 1985 BMW R80. Indicators, horn and rear brake light were working, however they stopped suddenly. The indicator did flicker fast before packing up. The strange thing is that they work when the high beam flash is depressed. Relay switch is working when tested, Fuses are intact. Any possible suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

I had a similar issue with my '78 R80. It turned out to be a bad ground to the coil bracket.

Is that a monoshock or a twin shock bike? I only ask because 1985 is just about on the cusp of the changeover between the two and the wiring is very different...
