Hi all
I have just found this forum and already found it very useful. I recently aquired my late fathers 1976 R90S and have started a light restoration on it as it has sat unused for a number of years. The plan is to get it up and running before a full nut and bolt restoration at some point in the future. I am replacing all the consumables, filters and fluids and ultrasonically cleaning the carbs which is where I have run into an issue! I am having terrible trouble trying to get the 'carburettor nozzle' (BMW13 11 1 260 862) to screw back in. Seem to have to push and twist to get the threads to bite but having managed one the second one will not take. Is there a knack to this or do I just need to apply a bit more force?
Many thanks
