Some of the round circles to the left of the topic have a red star at around 1 - 2 o'clock.

What does that mean? I know it has something to do with me being a poster in that thread, but I can't quite figure it out.

Most of the icons have explanations if you hover over them,
and I assume that the Topic Circle with the scrolling in it means it is a topic that is seeing a lot of activity?

Oy! I just saw a larger, white star on a Topic Circle, in the 7-8 o'clock position! What does that mean?

Never mind... just a Topic Icon....

Maybe this would be a better question: is there a legend anywhere that explains all the variations of the circular 'new posts/no new posts' icons? Most other fora have such a legend typically at the bottom of the page.
