Still trying to find, ( preferably an Original ), or an aftermarket copy luggage rack would be Ok
for my LWB R75. A frame mounted rack fitting just below the seat sides may be an easier way if they originally made them.
I took a gamble and bought a SWB rack thinking I maybe able to modify it to fit,
no go. Does anyone recognize these pannier frames and who would have a rack
that marrys with these frames, seems to be several config

I have what I have been told are Krauser racks and they are different from yours, it was EITHER the Krauser racks or the rear carrier but not both (they both use the mount just above the taillight).
I took off the Krauser racks and installed the rear carrier today, now I am on the hunt for a tail bag (the rack is 11" X 10" and a 6" high bag would be perfect).

It looks like it's a kluge for your bike. The rear attach hole mates with nothing and there's a bar that appears to go up to the rear of the seat and/or across to the other rack. Does it all look finished or did someone "make this work"?

No Kurt, looks all finished to me. thanks mate, atleast I have a brand name for the frames now, bags are
Krauser types. below you can see the crossover frame. If I can find a rack that just bolts onto
the frame as I mentioned, thats Ok too.

Beautiful bike. I have an unrelated question about your bike. The rondels (below the license and on the seat). May I ask where you got them. My '73 /5 has two holes below the license that I believe once had a red reflector. I have found a reflector, but the rubber mounting pad seems impossible to locate. I was thinking of maybe doing what you did; it looks good. On the seat, I have the R75/5 plate and I think the small rondel on yours looks nice. Thanks.

That looks like the stick on style roundel that they started using in 1974. Any BMW shop should sell them.

Are you after frames that will fit the BMW classic panniers? They will also fit the Krausers I think...but I would happily stand corrected.
Frames like these, that fit the /6-/7 models..

thanks Ray, the large Roundel below the Number plate is one of
those Resin types, the small one is a high quality 25mm ( 1inch ) Chrome Sticker, also in 70mm
both from Ebay. The Australian seller calls himself: Ozzbike.
