It is now in Ohio. The owner is planning to rebuild the bike as a replica of Gary Fisher's 1975 Mono shock B&S race bike.
As such, it will be fitted with a 750cc engine ...
"We have talked to Udo (Gietl) and he is happy to help us with technical info to recreate the R75/ engine ..."

The turbo and the K4V engine (Matt Capri's doing) will not be used.

"...a fitting tribute to Fisher and Udo Gietl."

amen !

Personally, I was extremely happy to find that someone with resources and inclination bought that machine.
Someone who has the presence of mind to appreciate and acknowledge it's significance and history –
and then be willing to celebrate all of that !

It seems to me, from my experience,
that very few "airheads" would be both willing and capable to pull off such a daunting task.
