Sargent / Eurotech 3/4 seat for R90/6

Has anyone here bought/used /ridden one of these? I need to replace my seat and since I've heard nothing good here about Corbin (correct me if I'm wrong), I decided to explore. The Sargent/Eurotech unit does look cooler than the stock R90/6 seat, (hard to believe, eh?) and ever since my wife started working in a hospital, ALL my motorcycle rides are solo.
Bike has been in winter storage a week, and I'm twitchy already.

I love my Corbin seats and have several of them. Some think they are too hard but after a day in the saddle my butt does not hurt.

That said I have also had may Sargent's and do like them as well. They are lighter than the Corbin and seem to be about as comfortable.

I have Corbins on a R90S and a 77RS and love them. Have a Sargent on my Suzuki SV1000, which I'm not as happy with (too flat, no curved support). The same with a Sargent that came on my 2002 R1150RS, which I replaced with a Russell. Also less than happy with that. Just got a Corbin for the 1150 and it's more comfortable than the other 2.

On the down side, I think the quality of construction of the Corbin is less than the others, and the price they charge for a re-cover is almost the price of a new seat.

I want a seat that allows me to move a bit - do some hangouts and so on. Not that I drive that fast. but it's good for my back to move around. Haven't tried neither of these but imagine that the Corbin is to much of a comfy sofa?

no - the Russell is much softer. Corbins and Sargents are both firm, the Corbin slightly more so. The Sargent is flatter, while the Corbin is more shaped to you butt, still with enough room to move around.

Corbins are great if you live near their factory and can make a custom fit appointment. The people I've known who went through that process were all very happy. Less frequently for off the shelf items. I've only used their older products, and found them hard and not very comfortable.

Corbin was critiqued in the past for having poor fitting seatpans. I don't think that part is nearly as true anymore in this day and age of much higher tech production. Russell works with your stock seatpan, so that's never been an issue for them. I think Sargent has gone both ways with seatpans.

The best possible way to go is if you can sit on one on a bike. It's kinda like helmets: it doesn't matter if it fits anyone else; all that matters is if it fits you.

I got my worn torn corbin from E-pay, had it re-covered locally..... with a cow hide as a Christmas from my Son

all in all under $200.00, I can spend 4-6 hours painless, 8 hours tired mostly from same position

I can move about in it change english while rideing

Best of world, is rideing from Auburn to south of Los Angeles, unpacking the bike, putting the stuff away, Mowing the lawn (if it needs it) going into the house and chaseing my wife around...........

I been to Sturgis on it and recently to Texas............... many many days of ride, eat, sleep, repete
